Une barrière naturelle pour les potagers

Le keyhole potager et la spirale d'herbes sont faits maintenant, mais nous avons réalisé que les lapins (et des hérissons qui sortent la nuit) allaient dévorer les herbes et les légumes, donc aucune chance que cela pousse! Alors Miyo et moi avons décidé de construire une barrière. Je voulais utiliser des matériaux naturels et construire quelque chose qui va s'harmoniser avec l'environnement donc nous avons utilisé les branches qu'André et moi avons ramassé dans la forêt la semaine dernière.

キーホールガーデンとハーブスパイラルが完成したところでホッとしようと思ったら．．．ハーブや野菜をうさぎたちに全部食べられては困る（夜はハリネズミも出ます）！と、いうことでミヨちゃんと二人で柵を造りました。できれば自然のもの、そして見栄えよくしたいなと思い、先週アンドレと森から集めてきた若い木の枝を使うことにしました。できるだけシンプルに、切ったりつなげたりの作業を省こうと思ってアーチを地面に差し込んでいき、下の方は枝を交互に編んでバリアを作って。また森に材料を調達しに行って下の方を足していきたいと思います。

The keyhole garden and herb spiral is done now but we realized that the rabbits (and hedgehogs that come out at night) will buffet them any chance they have! So Miyo and I decided to build a fence together. I wanted to use natural materials and build something that will blend in the environment so we used the branches that Andre and I had gathered from the forest last week. Thinking of making it as simple as possible without too much cutting and attaching, we planted the branches in an arch form into the ground.

Nous avons planté les branches en forme d'arc dans le sol pour éviter trop de coupe et d'attaches. Nous avons tissé les petites branches en bas pour serrer l'espace, fait une fente pour faire coulisser la porte et puis voilà, une barrière naturelle! J'aime bien le résultat en forme d'arches et cela donne une impression plus doux et invitant à la visite. Nous avons bien travaillé, n'avons-nous pas Miyo? Merci, Miyo!

そして出入り口の扉は上げ下げでき、風に飛ばされないようにスロットを作って、完成！意外にアーチが優しい雰囲気になって気に入りました。ミヨちゃん、二人で頑張ったね！ありがとう！次は鳥たちから守るカバー造りかな？

We wove in small branches on the bottom to make a barrier, made a little door slot to slide the door up and down and then voila, a natural fence! I ended up liking the curves of the arch which give a more inviting feel. We worked well, didn't we Miyo? Thank you!
